Young Plants

Want to produce young plants that are compact with thick protective leaves and a large root system?

It is easy to do without moving them when you grow them in a retractable roof house.

Exposing young plants to direct sunlight and lower humidity during their growing cycle will force the plants to develop smaller thicker leaves and large root systems which will help reduce water stress and insect attack after transplanting.

Closing the roof during rain and cold temperatures will protect plants and help you meet your shipping schedule and retracting the roof when outside temperatures are ideal will help them “grow compact, hard and strong” just like your customers wanted.
