Auto-Dry™
RETRACTABLE RAIN SHELTER SYSTEM
The Auto-Dry™ is a lower cost motorized rain shelter that is ideal for crops requiring rain and hail protection and occasional protection from excessive cold or heat. It's the perfect solution for crops typically grown in the outdoors or under traditional rain shelters, hail nets or in tunnels such as tree fruits like cherries, grapes, berries, seasonal vegetables and outdoor bedding plants, perennials and ornamentals.
Auto-Dry™ is designed to accommodate the installation of bird net or hail net above the roof, helping to protect crops from wind when roofs are retracted and protect roof coverings when closed.
Crops must be able to tolerate rain falling to the ground under the valleys since there is no gutter system.

Flat Roof
RETRACTABLE COOLING HOUSE
The flat roof is designed to cover hectares of crops that need protection from extreme heat, cold, wind, hail and the impact of hard rain.
The Flat Roof has the option to install a layer of insect net or bird net below the retractable roof.
The climate control can be tailored to the crop and climate due to the wide choice of Flat Roof coverings available for cooling, heat retention, insect control or blackout for control over daylength.
The Flat Roof house is extremely efficient to operate since one motor can power nearly 1 hectare of roofs.

RAIN PROTECTION
Cravo's newest house model combines the climate control of retractable Flat Roof House with the rain protection capabilities of the motorized rain shelter system Auto-Dry™.
There are two primary designs for the Flat Roof + Auto-Dry™, that can be customized depending on your crop, climate conditions and farming practices.
Keep insects and rain out + keep heat in
The first design utilizes insect net on the top layer for vegetable crops like tomatoes. The Auto-Dry™ system will then be used for rain protection, to create warmer temperatures in the winter and for additional shading during the hot summer afternoons.
Control heat + keep and rain out
The second design is for sensitive crops in hot tropical or desert climates where extensive cooling is required in combination with the need for rain protection. The upper roof covering can be used to provide additional sun and heat control when required and the Auto-Dry™ is used for rain protection.
