Since 1977, Cravo has been helping it's customers increase their productivity and profitability through the use of retractable roof systems. From it's modest beginnings as a manufacturer of retractable dump truck tarp systems and curtain systems for greenhouses to it's current success as the leader in retractable roofs worldwide, Cravo has held steadfastly to it's commitment of innovation and customer service.
From 1981 to 2005, Cravo was focussed on creating better growing environments for plants though innovative retractable roof greenhouses which helped growers take advantage of both the natural outdoor environment and the greenhouse environment.
In 2005 and 2006, the use of Cravo retractable roofs expanded into covering outdoor retail space at Garden Centers and Waterparks. Our customers told us that because our retractable roofs are the most cost effective available, that they could cover large areas that previously would have been cost prohibitive. This lead to Cravo's redefining it's business from being a manufacturer of retractable roof greenhouses to "retractable roofs for commercial greenhouses, retail garden centers, livestock barns, amusement parks and sports areas. Our new vision statement of "Creating a better environment for people plants and animals now reflects our approach to creating more natural, healthy environments in which we live, play, shop and grow our food. |
