   Greenhouse Systems

Retractable roof greenhouses can be used for basic protection of crops or as a complete plant production system with stationary or retractable insect screening, curtain systems for shading, heat retention and black out and perimeter walls with roll-up curtains with optional insect screening. Our retractable roofs are available with either an A-Frame or a Flat Roof profile.

A-Frame

Flat Roof
A-Frame roofs are typically used when complete protection from cold, snow, rain and wind is required
Flat Roofs are a lower cost way to protect rain tolerant crops from excessive heat, cold, and wind.

Greenhouse roofs can open either by retracting or by rotating the roof sections on a hinge. The choice of roof covering usually dictates which method of opening the roof is more advantageous.

If a rigid covering like glass or polycarbonate is desired, then a hinged open roof design is required. If a flexible roof covering polyethylene is normally your preferred roof covering, hinged & retractable are options.
